Beppe Di Benedetto

Beppe Di Benedetto is a trombone player, composer and arranger born in Italy. Beppe's passion for music began at the age of 12 when one day his father came home with a strange black suitcase in his hand. Inside was a shiny instrument. His constant curiosity in capturing the secret language of music has accorded Beppe many opportunities in sharing the stage with such famous musicians as Eumir Deotado, Solomon Burke, Bob Mintzer, Burt Bacharach,Paul Anka, Mario Biondi, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Hengel Gualdi, Jovanotti, Antonella Ruggero, Fabrizio Bosso, Lorenzo Tucci, Daniele Scannapieco, Giovanni Amato, Claudio Filippini, Andrea Tofanelli, Massimo Manzi, Ellade Bandini, Christian Meyer, Michael Rosen, Ernesstico, Mark Harris, Luca Mannutza, Tullio De Piscopo and many more.

Beppe Di Benedetto has released albums with Jovanotti (Collettivo Soleluna, Jovalive 2002), Mario Biondi (I Love You More, If, Yes You Live, Due), Alexia (Gli Occhi Grandi Della Luna), Jazz Art Orchestra (8 ½ , Drums), Kikkombo (Freddo Freddo, Wild Bloom); he has collaborated on various TV productions and for many years Beppe was the conductor and arranger of the Jazz Orchestra CB BAND. Since 2006, Beppe has been involved in Mario Biondi's (Italy's first jazz and soul voice) tours as a trombone player and arranger.

In November 2011, Beppe Di Benedetto released his debut album "See The Sky", a true résumé of experiences, knowledge and emotions acquired through many years of playing music and living life. This album is a result of Beppe's enthusiasm and joy for making music, and every so often it's a bit of everything - intense, soft, minimal, furious and romantic.
