Chris Ho

The City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Music Week recently honored Chris Ho with an award signed by Mayor James Hahn that reads, "through your profound inspiration, creative expression, and extraordinary musical talent, you have helped to enhance the beauty of our culture and enrich the lives of those in our community and the city of Los Angeles". Chris Ho has four CDs of original compositions and improvisations available on Merrimack Records. LIFETIME (1997), GROWING UP (1998), PICASSO BLUE (2000), and CHRISTMAS JAM (2001) are all are receiving featured airplay on internet radio stations www.live365.com/stations/dgorgon5, www.jazzlynx.net, www.sunsetstripradio.com, and www.impr.com .

Chris provides a music education program for preschool through middle school students called "Tune Into Jazz with Chris Ho", giving our children exposure to jazz history, theory, and improvisation. Chris continues to tour internationally, dividing his time between providing keyboard wizardry for Smokey Robinson, and performing his new compositions in trio, quartet, and quintet formats.

The Chris Ho Band has provided world class jazz performances for the following venues: Playboy Jazz Festival, Long Beach Jazz Festival, Blue Jay Jazz Festival, California Poppy Festival, Carson Jazz Festival, Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival, Culver City Summer Concerts Series, Hollywood Bowl Arts Festival, Hollywood Park Casino, House of Blues, LA African Arts Festival, Lotus Festival, Malibu Arts Festival, Martin Brothers Winery, Nisei Week Festival, Redondo Beach Lobster Festival, Tofu Festival, Universal Citywalk, Warner Center Concerts in the Park, Whittier Concerts in the Park.
