Luca Jurman (born on 28 February 1967, in Milan, Italy) is an Italian singer, musician, vocalist, arranger, producer, actor, and vocal coach. He began studying piano at the age of 4 and then makes his debut as a child prodigy at 13 as a jazz pianist at Capolinea and the Ca 'Bianca in Milan. At the age of 15 Luca approached the study of singing and when he was 18 years old began his career as a producer and vocal coach.
He has invented a special and revolutionary teaching method of singing, called "Vocal Classes", among his pupils are in fact important Italian singers as Alex Baroni, Irene Grandi, Simona Bencini, Chiara Iezzi, Roberta Faccani, Annalisa Minetti, Beppe Dettori, Arianna Bergamaschi e Michel Altieri.
Itself as vocalist, he worked in more than 200 albums and sang live with national and international artists: Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Phil Collins, Andrea Bocelli, Zucchero, Miguel Bosé, Grace Jones, Anna Oxa, Mogul, Adriano Celentano, Randy Crawford, Robert Palmer, Ornella Vanoni, Mario Biondi, Alexia etc. For Laura Pausini became musical director and arranger in "Laura Pausini World Tour 2001/2002" and sang in a duet with her the song "Dime." He received twice the nomination for "Latin Grammy Awards": in 2002 for the vocal production of the album Laura Pausini "The Best of" and in 2000 for Alejandro Sanz.
Luca Jurman is also the author and performer of more than 300 advertising jingles, including "Sorrisi e canzoni", "Brooklyn", "Algida", "Coca cola", "Sky", "BMW" etc.
In theater, he supervised the vocal direction of musicals "Grease", "Beatrice and Isidore" and "Jesus Christ Superstar," in which he played the role of Judas.
In 2004 he released his first album "Unplugged." In 2008 he released his second album "Back to", whose video for the single "Nera" was filmed in New York and signed by the great director Gabriele Muccino (The Pursuit of Happiness). The video clip was awarded with the price "Roma videoclip" from the Italian critics.
From September 2007 is vocal coach and judge for the TV school "Amici" (Friends), the most famous talent show in Italy. He discovered and brought to success and to the victory in the talent show: Marco Carta, Alessandra Amoroso and Valerio Scanu, the new stars of the Italian hit parades.
Since 2008, Luca Jurman enters at the programming of "Blue Note" in Milan undisputed temple of jazz and has been awarded with sold out concerts. "Blue Note" in Milan reward him by giving him significant recognition for being the first Italian musician to publish a Live Album signed "Blue Note". In September 2009 Luca decided to record an album live during his concerts at "Blue Note" in Milan and on December 4th he released the double CD "Live in Blue Note Milano" label Nar International, which is enjoying good success and the positive response from critics and the most prestigious Italian newspapers.
