I started writing songs when I was in the 5th grade. I wrote a song for my teacher Mrs. Lukens' and performed it the last day of school, this was before I could play guitar. I was first introduced to playing guitar at age 9 and was shown a few licks of a blues song called 'Honky Tonk'. I later picked it up again at 12 when I began to take it more seriously.
