Grant Green is considered by most jazz historians to be one of the most imaginative and innovative guitarists of the decades of the 1960s and 1970s. This book does focus on the style and techniques of Green, and it is an interesting approach that will appeal to guitarists.

There is much covered in the instruction book which comes with a nice play-along CD. There is a section dealing with Bebop scales, and other sections dealing with targeting, double-slurs, syncopation, turnarounds, to name a few.
