THE MARTIN TAYLOR GUITAR METHOD is a fine way to learn guitar. It is an exciting approach, and the play-along CD is well worth the time to enjoy again and again as a learning device.

The book covers everything for the beginning guitarist and that includes tuning, fretboard geography, tenths, basslines, and right and left hand techniques. Phrasing, rhythm, tone, and special effects are explained, and there is a nice learning experience on hand with the Danny Boy variations. Appendices include guitar design and an interview with Martin Taylor.

This instruction book would make a nice gift for the beginning guitarist, for it is upfront, educational, and all material is clearly presented. A excellent book of instruction.A great way to learn guitar! Martin Taylors guitar method will have appeal to all who are interested in learning guitar.'
