Jazz, Flamenco & World by The Airy Ghost Of Man

The Airy Ghost Of Man is an imaginative group which blends jazz, flamenco, and world music in arrangements and performances that are enjoyable, and memorable. Their new CD release is titled JAZZ, FLAMENCO & WORLD, and it is definitely worth the jazz listener's time!

Selections are original compositions by some of the group members, and include "Found Love Nearby," "Breakfast At Midnight," "Rumba de Tuti," "Vic's Blues," "Fade In Fade Out," among others. 12 selections total.

What places this CD apart from the usual is its emphasis on solo performances, good group work, and interesting jazz motifs. Give a listen to "Hancock Tribute" and you will discover some fine musicians at work, and the collection as a whole reflects well the skill of the performers!

Victor Borken is superb on trumpet as is Paul Van Egmond on trombone. Topnotch musicians, every one!
