The Best of Harry James by Harry James

THE BEST OF HARRY JAMES is a delight for big band jazz fans, for it highlights some of the big hits of Harry James during the late 1930s, including a nice recording of "All Or Nothing At All" sung by Frank Sinatra. As a band leader, Harry James was one of the finest big band performers to come along, and his trumpet music is among the finest.

The CD collection contains 14 songs. Some of these songs include "Ciribiribin," "One o'clock Jump," "Boo Woo," "From The Bottom Of My Heart," "Back Beat Boogie," "Concerto For Trumpet," among others.

This is a very nice Harry James collection. It is one that his fans will enjoy. Harry James (1916 - 1983) was one of big band's greatest trumpeters and band leaders.
