Brazilian Dance by jBf

I really enjoyed the new release from jBf (Jazz Brazilian Funk) because it was so full of life and creativity. BRAZILIAN DANCE is an excellent example of what a good band can create and share with Brazilian jazz motifs. This is a good collection to have in your home library of CDs!

The songs include "My Coucounia," "Blues in a Fire Mode," "Brazilian Dance," "Play a Ballad," "Electric Blues," "Shosha's Spirit," and each is a special gem of Brazilian sound magic. Every song is a showcase for the performers. The solo work in this fine collection is everything the listening audience could wish for, and more.

A fine example of the musicians performing is "Brazilian Dance" and also in "Shosha's Spirit." The listening audience will delight in these memorable performances on each song as the musicians express their feelings in different & enjoyable ways!

Marc Levy is in top form on guitar. His composing skills are firstrate.

If you like Brazilian jazz, you will find BRAZILIAN DANCE a great listening adventure, filled with verve and imagination. Congratulations, jBf, on a fine collection. "Electric Blues" and "Shosha's Spirit" are worthy of much airplay time.
