Connections by Bruce A. Henry

As clouds roll by on a windy Autumn day blanketing the earth below with serenity so does the tones and gentle vocals of one Bruce A. Henry. Mr. Henry with his 2003 release from Bahlove Productions called "Connections, does just that connects with every passive spirit who will and should lend an ear. Vocals rich with heart and intense soul of his gifted being. A wonderful spin that deserves chatter!

From the exquisite interpretation of "House Of The Rising Sun" to "Equinox" the talent all falls in place with very capable musical arrangements. Its as if Mr. Henry lived through his musical efforts bleeding the feeling he experienced within each cuts story. He feels and with heavy emotion which is an important part of a vocalists future. I see with consistency a very magical future for this voice from the sky. In short this vocal gift was made for the genre of jazz!

Spend time with the exit cut "Moon" an Italian lullaby that has shades of broken love bleeding from the eyes of the listener. The tones just take you to the moment and lead you down the path of heart. Vocals are rich with crisp and direct expression, a very strong way to disengage from the project.

Enclosed as well are points which Mr. Henry feels needed to be made as in original "Africa Cries" which is a cry for understanding the trouble the country is wading through. Along with a strong string accompaniment all efforts do reach the goal of addressing the point sought to be made.

"Connection" does what it was meant to do bridge the gap between heart and soul, with the tone and pitch of a very talented Mr. Henry, we do look for more!
