Peter Cincotti by Peter Cincotti

Congratulations to Concord Records and producer Phil Ramone for helping put together this remarkable debut CD Collection by Peter Cincotti titled PETER CINCOTTI. There are debuts and there are debuts, but this debut collection is one of the best to come out featuring an unknown jazz singer in the past several years.

Peter Cincotti has a fluid, warm, sensual voice that puts him in the same select group of legendary singers as Frank Sinatra, Barry Manilow, Tony Bennett, Vic Diamone, and Johnny Mathis. Cincotti has a romantic voice, one that expresses the best of any song he performs for the jazz audience.

Cincotti's jazz stylings on the piano are as memorable as his vocals. Give a listen to "Sway" and "Ain't Misbehavin," and you will discover the influences of pianist Fats Waller, and listen to "Spinning Wheel" for a lovely influence of Erroll Garner. As a pianist, Cincotti is adept at an intimate style that will attract jazz listeners everywhere.

There are 12 selections. Among them are some songs written by Peter Cincotti and other wonderful old standards. Peter Cincotti shines on each song.

Among the songs in this collection are "I Changed The Rules," "Comes Love," "Are You The One?," a memorable rendition of the classic "Sway," "Miss Brown," "Lovers, Secrets, Lies," "Fool On the Hill/Nature Boy," "Ain't Misbehavin'," the intimate and beautiful "Come Live Your Life With Me," "Spinning Wheel," "You Stepped Out Of A Dream," and "Rainbow Connection."

This is a classic debut CD collection by Peter Cincotti. This is one you will want to share with friends and have in your personal home library.

Flawless singing. Flawless performances. Highly recommended.
