The Definition of Love by Imprompt2

Impromp2 has again graced the music world with their talent. These two guys can really get you going with their beautiful ballads, and smooth horn. Impromtu2 consist of Sean Mac (Rapper and singer) and Johnny Britt (singer and trumpet) and their band, which is a whole lot of people making exceptional sounds together. This project is said to be their best work ever, and if you have ever heard their previous projects, then you have to believe that this must be the crème-de-la-crème of the series. I had the privilege of reviewing this project for jazzreview.com and I will say that you better not sleep on this one.

The very first song on the album is "When Will Things Change", is a smooth jazz vocal tune. Track 2 "Definition of Love" showcased the talent of Johnny Britt, the man with the horn. Kim Fields, graced us with her powerful spoken word on "Mocha Soul," fused with Impromt2 this was a very well put together collaboration. My favorite was "I’ll Do Whatever", a sexy, sensual love song that said just the right thing at just the right moment. Guest appearance by Boney James on the track "Bring It Back" was well worth the entire cost of the CD. I could go on with every track on the CD, but I’ll let you pick it up and see for yourself. Impromt2 will take your relationship to whole new level when you hear the tracks on this CD. They take you from trying to work it out, to working it out, to really working it out, to it’s all worked out!

This Album is definitely a keeper, and should be in steady rotation in your CD player. Trust me I wouldn’t say it, if I didn’t mean it. Imprompt2 - pick it up and add it to your music collection.
