Vol. 3 New Congo Square by Los Hombres Calientes: Irvin Mayfield & Bill Summe

Los Hombres Calientes have out done themselves with this one, "Vol 3 New Congo Square," is a great CD, it has an eclectic blend of jazz and old fashioned funk by way of New Orleans, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Cuba.

Several artists contributed to this project which is jammed packed with twenty-three smokin tracks. My personal favorites being "Jah Rastafarai" and "New Bus Stop."

With so many solid tracks, you're sure to have several favorites as well, so kick back or throw down and enjoy these sounds. After all what do you expect when you combine forty years of percussion experience with a skillful young trumpeter? None other than a cultural education!
