Who Needs Love by Incognito

From the beginning in 1979 to now 2003, Incognito has left an impression on the jazz scene in the US and the UK. Jean-Paul Maunick aka "Bluey" brought us full circle with an explosive new album entitled ‘Who Needs Love". Bluey plays many of the instruments himself as well as lending some of the vocals. Together with Joy Malcolm, Joy Rose and Kellie Sai this album is everything that a jazz album should be with a mixture of funk and soul. Joy Rose leads "Can’t Get You Out of My Head," with gut wrenching soul and it takes you back to a time when music was music. Kellie Sae takes over in "People at the Top" and leaves you mesmerized with her funky, soulful, style. And after several tracks of pure listening enjoyment Joy Malcolm gives us yet another mesmerizing sound in "Blue (I’m Still Here With You).

Incognito has so much jazz, funk, soul, and mystifying flavor it’s hard to stop listening and vibing to their sound. Incognito has been hailed as on of the greatest bands today and this album proves that they wear their title well.
