Bobby Hackett Live At The Roosevelt Grill Featuring Vic Dickenson by Bobby Hackett

BOBBY HACKETT LIVE AT THE ROOSEVELT GRILL FEATURING VIC DICKENSON is a remarkable recording of a mainstream jazz ensemble showcasing the talents of Bobby Hackett on cornet, Vic Dickenson on trombone, Dave McKenna on piano, Jack Lesberg on bass, and Cliff Leeman, drums. The recording took place at the Roosevelt Grill during April and May of 1970 in New York City.

11 selections and 56:11 minutes of enjoyment by a first class group of musicians. Such songs as "Meditation," "You're Gonna Hear From Me," "Margie," and "It's So Peaceful in the Country." Vic Dickenson gives outstanding performances on his own musical compositions in his "All My Love," "Alone," and "Constantly." Dave McKenna, as usual, is flawless on his piano interpretations with his clarity and sensitive stylings.

This is classic jazz, something to share with jazz listeners everywhere. Give it a try if you enjoy this type of jazz, for you won't be disappointed! Excellent.
