Jazz Meets Tango by Trio Nuevo

Trio Nuevo shares with the jazz audience a special musical magic that perfectly blends jazz, world music, and South American motifs into an intoxicating brew that is enjoyable listening at any time. The musicians are perfect in this unusual, lively collection, and it is a CD you will long cherish and want to share with friends.

There are eleven songs on the CD. Among the fine songs are "Libertango," "The Missing Link," Chiquillín de Bachin," "Sleeping Giant," "Milonga is Coming," Melodía de Arrabal," "Summit," "Balada para un Loco," "Esperanza." "Milonga de Jacinto Chiclana," and "Oblivion."

The collection is filled with creativity and imagination. The musicians soar as they perform in top notch fashion, and each song is a memorable musical expression. No other group could do this in just such a fine manner as Trio Nuevo. Listen to "Milonga de Jacinto Chiclana" and you will find yourself swept up in its intricate sounds and powerful motifs. Every song brings its own special sound.

For something out of the ordinary, something extremely well-crafted, this is an excellent CD to have in your home library and to have in your local public library.
