Spectra Jazz releases award winning ballad by Matt Cusson

The Spectra Jazz label will release the maxi single "One of Those Nights" by singer/songwriter Matt Cusson on November 15, 2010. The autobiographical jazz ballad (unanimously voted as the winner of the 2008 "John Lennon Songwriting Contest") and 2009 "Maxell Song of the Year", has been re-mixed and re-mastered to include orchestral embellishments, provided by composer/arranger Bill Meyers.

Cusson is a prodigious producer, pianist, singer & songwriter, who excels in Jazz, Pop, Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Gospel and Rock. He’s a three-time "Amateur Night at the Apollo" winner, who has performed on "Live with Regis and Kelly", Bravo Television’s "Millionaire Matchmaker", ABC Television’s "The View" and recently headlined the international "Michael Jackson - Man in the Mirror Tribute tour".

Cusson gives credit to a wide range of performers and legends for his inspiration that include: Take 6, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Brian McKnight and The Beatles.

He has worked with various performers including Christina Aguilera, James Taylor, BeBe Winans, Stanley Clarke, Babyface, Smokey Robinson and his mentor and friend, R&B sensation Brian McKnight.

"One of Those Nights", will be digitally released on Amazon.com and iTunes November 15th, 2010, with a street date set for February 8, 2011.
