I listened to this CD four times and each time got a different feel for the songs performed. There is something very smooth yet comlex in these performances, and "You Can Depend On Me" is sure to be a hit among listeners everywhere! Ruby Braff and his cornet shine in the excellent CD of 8 selections. Ruby Braff is joined by fellow musicians, Bucky Pizzarelli on guitar, Bob Haggart on bass,Jim Gwin on drums, and tht gifted pianist Johnny Varro. Some of the runs and solos performed by pianist Johnny Varro on this CD are among his finest, and continually enjoyable to hear again!

Songs on this CD include "You Can Depend On Me," "Little Old Lady," The Big Butter & Egg Man," "Time On My Hands," George & Ira Gershwin's "The Man I Love," (a classic rendition by Braff and his musicians!), "Just You, Just Me," Andy Razaf & Paul Deniker's "S'posin," and "On the Alamo."

"You Can Depend On Me" is highly enjoyable in all ways, and a must have to place in the home library CD collection, and as a gift for a friend. Perfect CD for listening pleasure!
