This collection is a very nice sampling of the musical talents of jazz pianist and composer, David Benoit. Selected by Benoit, it starts with his first recording in 1977 and works its way up to the present. Some of the jazz compositions include "Los Angeles," "Wind Season," "East Coast Dancer," "Take A Look Inside My Heart," "If I Could Reach Rainbows." The CD contains fourteen selections. Among the versatile musicians are Dave Williams, Gary Ferguson, Laurin Rinder, Hector Andrade, Jeri Bacchino, Michael Lewis, Macelino Valdez, John Wheelock, Wade Short, Ron Brown, Del Blake, Tim Weisberg (who plays flute, alto and bass flute on "Wind Season"), Todd Robinson. A fine and enjoyable compilation.
