Mark Lucus gives the listener a literal smorgasbord of tunes from Moon River (Mercer) to St. Thomas (S. Rollins). This talented jazz guitarist exhibits his talent on his personal list of "new" jazz standards. A variety of music that would normally not be hear on the same album. However, this mix of all periods of music is quite refreshing. Mark plays with concrete direction and patience creating a superb solo guitar recording.
