I know this is not a new CD. But I just picked it up recently. Been listening to it constantly ever since. The truth is I'm a big Tim Hagans fan. I think he's one of the hottest trumpeters on the scene today. The man has definitely got a sound that's all his own. But on some of these tracks, he sounds so much like Miles Davis, that it's spooky. This is jazz that is future ready. The players are great. And Bob Belden has done an excellent job of producing. A must for all jazz fans. Especially Tim Hagans fans.
