What a wonderful surprise of fine jazz music for the listener on the new CD, "Espiritista." It is something you will find yourself mentally getting up from the cafe table and starting to dance to. If you have ever been to Cuba on a vacation, it will stir up pleasant memories of the island and its music.
There are eleven very nice selections on this CD, and each is bound to have a special feeling for the listeners! Among the well-crafted and well-performed selections the listener will discover "Children of the Night," "Espiritista," "Delta," "Cha Cha Cha," "Baltonimo," "Infant Eyes," "Rumba Sequito," "Things Ain't What They Used To Be," among others. Rumba Club is a very professional, seasoned group, and it is a pleasure to listen to and enjoy what they have put together on this CD.
Tim Murphy does some unique piano playing on these selections, and if you have never heard him before, this is an excellent introduction to this pianist
