Looking Up by Paul Carlton

Here's another winner in the contemporary and straight-ahead jazz genres. Saxophonist Larry Carlton and his band scores with their first solo, dynamic and masterfully composed project fittingly titled, "Looking UP"! All the compositions on this project display the musical extraordinary efforts of this talented quartet.

The entire CD is a melange of melodic notes compiled to make an exciting jazz experience. "The In-Betweens" is a wonderful and captivating song that breathes with it's own rhythm and originality. In fact all of the pieces on the CD are unique and noteworthy of listening to over and over again...

Undeniably so, "Looking up" is original and will satisfy the musical demands of those with differentiating tastes.
