Drum & Tenor by Jeroen Elfferich and Wim Ninaber

This is the first CD by one of Holland's finest jazz duos. Unknown in the United States, this CD should bring them some new jazz listeners from all areas! Jazz standards are utilized in a improvisable manner, and done with some approaches that will delight the jazz listener's ear in such titles as "wee wee bird," "breathing," "gloria," "in a changing mood," among others from a 12 selection list! Jeroen Elfferich is the drummer/composer, and Wim Ninaber plays the saxophone, and together, they present a strong, vibrant sound. This is duo jazz with drum and saxophone at its very best. Give it a listen!
