Spain by Michel Camilo & Tomatito

SPAIN is an exciting blend of world music with contemporary jazz, and it will find many listeners! Featuring pianist Michel Camilo and flamenco guitarist Tomatito, this is an upfront and up to date look at some excellent contemporary jazz performances by two of Spain's leading jazz musicians.

The 8 songs include: "Spain intro," "Spain," Besame Mucho" ( a perfect rendition in jazz of this classic Spanish song!), "A mi nino Jose," "Two Much/Love Theme," "Para Troilo y Saigan," "La Vacilona," "La Vacilona," "Aire de Tango." Good solid performances by two performers who perform well together and know each other's playing gifts to the point of blending completely within each other's musical expressions and visions of sound.

SPAIN is a very nice jazz expression of contemporary Spanish jazz at its best by two of its best interpreters! An excellent CD for the collection and as a gift for a friend! Very pleasurable jazz music!
