Artt Franke,Chet Baker's drummer for over 20 years has discovered a new talent straight out of Kansas City. His name is Chris Clarke and I feel this guy is going to be a hot musician very soon. He has just signed with MJA Records, he is classically trained and he mixes that with his love for jazz with emotionally perfection. "Norma's Kids" is my favorite because it is a mixture of jazz, latin and his jamaican roots all wrapped up together. The song is dedicated to his mother who is no longer with us. This is a CD that is a must to have Pass the word and remember the name Chris Clarke. It also does not hurt that he is pleasing to the eye.
