Last Trip has created a lively collection on their new CD release titled UP WITH 'DA FUNK. There are 10 selections on this CD, including "Reggaesphere," "Ballbag," "Peruvian Princess," "Arabesque," among others.

These guys in the band are exceptionally good, and there is a strong sense of shared vision in their performances. Special attention to Scott deOgburn's innovative piano stylings and Mark White on guitars. Each member of Last Trip is a musician to the full, each performing some fine solo work.

"Peruvian Princess" and "Monica" are lively and should catch the ears of every jazz listener! A fine outing is what you get with UP WITH 'DA FUNK.
