Heart by Paul VornHagen

Paul VornHagen gives the listening audience a nice outing in musical expression in this spirited collection of 13 selections. HEART is a CD with plenty of heart and soul, and highly enjoyable.

Guest artist, pianist/organist Tad Weed gives some imaginative stylings that add luster and verve to the recordings, and the musicians give a lively sound on every song. Some of the songs include "Wake-up Call," "Firefly Mambo," "Secret Love," "Caravan," "Dearly Beloved," "I Didn't Know About You," among others. When Paul VornHagen plays saxophone or flute, the jazz audience is in for a treat, for he gives style, harmony, and verve to his performances.

HEART is a fine collection of songs, and for those who have not heard Paul VornHagen or Tad Weed perform, this is a nice introduction. Give a listen to them both strut their stuff on the song, "I Wish I Knew." Jazz audiences will love HEART for many different reasons.
