If you enjoy smooth jazz piano with various style innovations, PIANO featuring Gary Clark will appeal to you in this CD collection of 15 songs. All piano arrangements are by Gary Clark in his solo piano CD. There are many nice songs on this collection such as "Never Never Land," "Someone Like You," "Lullaby of Birdland," "The Rose," "Here There And Everywhere," "Midnight Sun," among others. Gary Clark has the ability to define his song through vivid piano images. PIANO is a nice listening experience; likeable, enjoyable. One of the listening treats in this collection of songs is the mellow stride approach to the Harold Arlen/E.Y. Harburg song, "If I Only Had A Brain," from the classic M-G-M movie, "The Wizard of Oz," which starred Judy Garland. Gary Clark gives each song a perceptive and enjoyable performance for the listening audience. Clark soars with style on George Shearing's "Lullaby of Birdland."
