Out of Sight by Poncho Sanchez

Poncho Sanchez always delights and entertains with each release, and his OUT OF SIGHT is sure to be a winner among jazz listeners. This is one of his finest releases.

The CD collection has 10 songs. Each song is a showcase outing for the legendary Sanchez. Among the songs is a fine, fine, fine rendition of "One Mint Julep," "El Shing-A-Ling," "Hitch It To The Horse," "Saints and Sinners," a special vocal by Ray Charles of "Mary Ann," "Not Necessarily," "Conmigo," "JB's Strut," "Out Of Sight," and the wonderfully inventive 8:19 minute song titled "El Tambor Del Mongo."

OUT OF SIGHT is that rare combination of great songs coupled with great performances. OUT OF SIGHT is a winner in anybody's books!

David Torres shines with his piano and Hammond B-3 organ performances! As always, Fred Westley is the perfect trombone performer, his solo work flawless and intimate.

Entertaining and enjoyable describes OUT OF SIGHT. Each performer is in top form throughout these songs. Special note on Dale Spalding's fine performance on harmonica for the song "Mary Ann."
