Lomo’s debut album has a very unique sound to it, however it wasn’t enough to keep me listening past two maybe three tracks. The sound was unique but all of the tracks were a little melancholy and it wasn’t enough to pull you into the next track. Each time I wanted to say okay, that’s enough. I think that this group would probably do a better live show than recorded music. Track 5 entitled " Sharkness" was a nice track, but I almost didn’t get to that one at all. I guess this project placed me more in the area of rock instead of jazz. This was a good CD, not great and unfortunately in this business you almost need to be great or close to it.
