Guitarist Vic Juris is called a chopsmeister of the highest order who was a leader for the Muse and SteepleChase labels.

Today, Juris steps out with his own diverse compilation of tunes, allowing the artist to mix textures and moods, switching from steel string acoustic to nylon string acoustic guitar, reflecting his own creative character.

Gathering top artists Joe Locke, Jay Anderson, Nussbaum and Haddad was an added allure for this stylish album.

Blue Horison opens with Dancing Shadows, a mild, gentle, introspective tune.

Labyrinth is a little more brisk, with Juris’ guitar leading until Joe Locke gets swinging on vibes and comes up front.

Offering quite a change of pace, Spanish Horse shows off Juris’ work with nylon string.

Jamey Haddad leads with a polyrhythmic percussion for Sunset On Vega, joined by Juris’ melodic guitar.
