One of the most dominant guitarists in contemporary music today is Peter White. Since 1990, he has recorded nine albums and has consistently charted on smooth jazz charts everywhere. Peter's unique melodic style of play is mesmerizing and fluid, while his overall approach continues to be music listeners would love to hear. This formula has proven to be a catalyst for one of the most meteoric careers of any artist in recent history. White's latest release entitled 'Confidential' is yet another in a series of collaborative albums that has all the necessary ingredients to be considered as a qualitative success. The difference between Peter and other artists of his kind can be found in his refusal to be categorized as a smooth jazz musician. He prefers to be classified as an artist who plays to the hearts and minds of his listeners. In addition, all Peter has ever wanted to do is have fun with his music and entertain audiences wherever he can.

'Confidential' is an album that combines the talents of Peter White with those of some of the most prevalent artists in jazz today. The list of individuals appearing with Peter White reads like a 'Who's Who in American Contemporary Jazz,' while bringing together some of the finest music of its kind anywhere. As always, Peter's signature style underlines the statement he attempts to make and displays his other unique skills. This time out, White not only plays the guitar, he also jumps in with some new vibrations to sketch an album that is uniquely qualified to be different. He brings to bear very skillful interpretive talents on other instruments as well, which does include the accordion, keyboards and acoustic piano. Over and through eleven exceptional tracks, Peter White not only produces a few of the tracks, he also weaves a tapestry of musical delight with a keen sense of artistic awareness and sensitivity.

This latest release was accomplished over a year's timeline. Throughout the CD, Peter does his absolute best to provide a musical adventure that is filled with exciting well-defined music. 'Confidential' highlights the influences of Mindi Abair, Chris Botti, Brian Culbertson, Paul Brown, Lenny Castro, Paulinho Da Costa and a host of other notable musicians to help showcase another Top 10 hit. This release is exotic, harmonic, romantic, rhythmic and melodic. The picturesque vision Peter has chosen to pursue has yielded an in-depth look into the soul of one of the best smooth jazz guitarists around today. He combines the essence of a Brenda Russell cover song, the influences of a Latin samba groove and the dynamics of everything personal and insightful to make an album that is all about good sounding music.
