Jeff Healey to Record Live Blues Concert CD

Renowned blues guitarist (and jazz trumpet impressario/band leader) Jeff Healey, will be recording a live blues CD with his Jeff Healey Blues Band, (which is the Healey's House Band), on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Jeff Healey's Roadhouse, 56 Blue Jays Way (across from Wayne Gretzky's), in Toronto, ON.

The cover for this special night, will be $15 at the door.

The live tracks recorded this night, will be added to some already-recorded studio tracks, for Jeff's upcoming CD.

Doors open at 8 p.m. for this live concert recording night.

The Healey's House Band will go on at 10 p.m. Jeff will join them onstage at 11 p.m. The whole show will last until about 1 a.m.

The Jeff Healey Blues Band features Jeff Healey on lead and rhythm guitar and lead vocals; Dan Nordmeer on slide guitar/rhythm and some lead guitar; Alec Fraser on electric bass; Dave Murphy on keyboards; and Al Webster on drums. Every member of the Healey Blues Band sings background vocals with Jeff.

Here's a word from Healey bassist Alec Fraser: "This will be the only performance that Jeff will be doing for quite some time, due to chemo treatments. This new blues recording I'm mixing is mostly done, and this 'live' night at Healey's will be an added bonus to the studio tracks."

Let's all get out there and support Jeff on this rare night of live-in-concert recording.
