License To Play by Jim Adkins

Jim Adkins is an award winning guitarist/songwriter from central Virginia. He has won 8 awards in V.O.C.A.L. (Virginia Organization Of Composers and Lyricist) and placed 2nd in the 1999 BILLBOARD SONG CONTEST in jazz. Jims music was also on a compilation cd from mp3 103 Best Songs You"ve Never Heard Vol I which was distributed to over 250000 music fans. Jim signed with Postive Music Records in 2002 and recorded the CD Turning Point which produced a top 40 song on smoothjazz.com called Into The Storm.

In 2004 Clear Image Records was formed and License To Play will be the 1st release on the label. To date Jim has four CDs.
